I am a Sydney based interior and architectural photographer working for interior designers, architects, builders and construction companies.

I graduated as a designer in the UK in 1996 and despite my chosen field being graphic design, I have always had broader creative interests, including product and furniture design, interior design, architecture and photography.

Whilst working as a graphic designer and art director in a growing UK based design and publishing agency – and studying interior design in my spare time – I developed my photographic skills fulfilling the in-house photography requirements for the agency.

In 2006, I emigrated to Australia and started working as a senior branding designer in Sydney. It was there that I struck up a working relationship with an interior designer who shared the same studio space, photographing projects on completion for her portfolio.

Photographing interiors pulled all my creative passions together and after furthering my technical abilities at the Australia Centre for Photography and many interior shoots later, I launched Burrough Photography, specialising in interior and architectural photography.

I currently photograph work for interior designers, architects, builders and construction companies. I am based in Sydney’s Northern Beaches and service Sydney and the surrounding area, as well as having shot the occasional projects further afield in NSW, the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Darwin.
