Warringah Council Chambers, Dee Why

Designed by architect Col Madigan, the Warringah Council chambers in Dee Why was opened in 1973 and is a fine example of brutalist architecture.

The brutalist style isn’t to everyones liking and with plans afoot to redevelop the site for the councils current requirements, I thought I’d take these shots to highlight the buildings central atrium – one of its key features – before any potential remodelling occurs.
